Job Description
Key Responsibilities Supervise the cooking process to ensure adherence to recipes, ingredients, and quality standards Manage team performance, training, and timekeeping Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and quality regulations Monitor and improve production efficiency using lean manufacturing tools Maintain accurate records of production and stock movements Participate in audits, stock takes, and continuous improvement projects Minimum Requirements Matric or equivalent Mechanical engineering N3 - N6 advantageous - Preferred Proficiency in computer skills and basic literacy/numeracy Forklift license Microbiological background or understanding 2 years' experience in a supervisory/leadership role 2 years' experience in cooking sauces and mayonnaise Understanding of LEAN principles and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) Competencies Strong leadership and people management skills Effective communication and problem-solving abilities Organizational skills and attention to detail Proactive and results-driven mindset
