Project Manager - Pet Food Industry

Our client, a prominent player in the pet food industry, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee plant development and manufacturing processes. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to a growing sector by managing projects that enhance production efficiency and quality. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of plant development, from initial planning to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Manage manufacturing processes to optimise efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high standards of product quality. Coordinate with various departments, including engineering, production, quality assurance, and cross-functional teams such as sales and marketing, to ensure seamless project execution. Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to align product development with market needs, customer expectations, and business objectives. Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet project goals. Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and reports. Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth project delivery. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors to ensure project success. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is advantageous. A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the pet food industry or a similar manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of plant development and manufacturing processes. Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
