Key Responsibilities Strategic Procurement Management Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives. Ensure compliance with Triple BEE requirements and the Mining Charter. Drive cost optimization while maintaining high-quality standards. Tender and Contract Management Oversee tender processes and evaluate proposals to secure value-driven contracts. Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance. Vendor and Supplier Management Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers. Evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and service delivery. Drive initiatives for vendor development and compliance with BEE codes. Team Leadership and Development Lead, mentor, and manage a team of procurement professionals. Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on collaboration and accountability. Import/Export and ERP Management Oversee import/export operations, ensuring compliance with regulations. Utilize ERP systems to streamline procurement processes and reporting. Minimum Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field (CIPS certification required). A minimum of 7 years experience in procurement within mining, manufacturing, or construction industries. At least 2-3 years of experience in a managerial role. In-depth knowledge of Triple BEE procurement and Mining Charter requirements. Proficiency in tender and contract management, import/export processes, and ERP systems.
