Data Engineer London/hybrid Salary up to £75,000 per annum An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well known organisation within the media/entertainment space. They are looking for a new Data Engineer (or Senior Data Engineer) with strong experience with AWS, who can hit the ground running. Key responsibilities: Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, to manage large volumes of data efficiently. Develop and maintain high-quality SQL scripts for data transformation, integration, and querying across diverse sources. Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that support strategic decision-making. Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights. Monitor data workflows to ensure reliability, accuracy, and performance, resolving any issues proactively. Key skills required: Strong experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, preferably within the media or entertainment industry. Strong expertise in AWS & Redshift, including performance tuning, data modeling, and schema design. Hands-on experience with Matillion for ETL/ELT processes. Proficiency in SQL & Python Proven ability to design and deliver Power BI dashboards and reports. Familiarity with cloud architecture and services, particularly within AWS (e.g., S3, Lambda, CloudWatch). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
