Technical Programme Manager – Data Centre Build – Financial Services A specialist financial technology firm have a portfolio of in-flight infrastructure projects and are looking for a technical project manager with deep technical and delivery expertise in technology infrastructure within a financial markets environment to build a new data centre for the business. You will have proven recent experience in modern data centre builds / fit outs (rather than migration, consolidation or exit experience) for high performance compute requirements (from racks and cooling through to fibreoptics and connectivity) as well as a solid understanding of modern automated infrastructure from a DevOps perspective, for example, understanding the scaling of HPC infrastructure in code, and connectivity to storage and networks. 10 years technical project management experience for complex data centre builds Proven data centre build experience from scratch, in greenfield environments Solid understanding of automated/software-defined networking and infrastructure environments Understanding of continuous integration and deployment tooling and technologies, and DevOps practices Exposure to low latency and/or market data infrastructure in financial services is preferred Excellent stakeholder management and engagement experience Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution This is a £700-800/day PAYE role, based London initially for six months. Hybrid working.
