Senior Financial Accountant

Our client, a renowned leader in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team based in Fourways. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a newly qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong foundation in financial accounting and a passion for delivering excellence in financial reporting and analysis. You will be entrusted with full financial function responsibilities, overseeing the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Your expertise will be vital in supporting key business decisions and driving the continued success of the company. Duties: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements. Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with business units to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making at executive and operational levels. Ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of financial controls and processes to maintain the integrity of financial data. Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring that the company meets all tax obligations in a timely and efficient manner. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: You must be a qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA). Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, ideally within a corporate or telecommunications environment.
