Job Description

The opportunity drive the success on the microwave performance of quantum chips through modeling and design. Responsibilities Offering circuit design in cooperation with the Quantum Measurement team to enhance the functionality of gates and readout Working with the Nanofabrication team to design and layout superconducting integrated circuits for quantum processors Handling an RF Engineer for Quantum Hardware Constructing gds design circuits with commercial software and modeling them with bespoke Python-based simulation tools (HFSS, ADS Quantum Pro) Working together with teams from manufacturing and experimentation to identify several circuit topologies for fabrication and measurement Measuring the microwave characteristics of the circuits you have developed and modeled at low temperatures. Requirements In experimental quantum physics, you hold a doctorate. You possess expertise in research and/or industry. You are well-versed in quantum dots and circuit quantum electrodynamics. You are well-versed in the procedures involved in the manufacture of semiconductors. You possess extensive understanding of computer modeling, specifically with regard to integrated or lumped element electrical circuits and quantum circuits. You've used commercial electromagnetic solvers (HFSS, COMSOL, CST) before. You can work with a variety of talented engineering teams. You write and speak English well. You have the drive and independence to work on your own. You have an intense curiosity and enthusiasm for technology, with a focus on quantum.
