Senior Test Engineer - Non-Functional Team

1. Role description: The Test Engineer will carry out activities from a non-functional testing perspective. 2. Nature of tasks : Your tasks will be : Produce test design specifications – test cases, the applicable Test Plans and to execute the test plans; Design test scenarios to ensure 100% coverage of requirements; prepare test cases (the ones which cannot be automated) and automated test scripts to test the identified scenarios; Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software is defect-free; Execute the required test cases and analyse the results; Report on the test results. 3. Knowledge and Skills - Non-functional expertise in one of the following domains: database administration, networking and connectivity; - Keen interest on quality and intense attention to detail; - Ability to analyze results of testing correctly and to report on them efficiently; - Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies; - Capacity in writing documents; - Good communication skills; - Ability to communicate effectively with development team; - Experience and willingness of working in an international/multicultural environment. Proven experience performing the following tests: Robustness/Resilience Tests Network/Connectivity Tests Penetration Testing Business Recovery Testing/Disaster Recovery Testing Power Supply tests Deployment/Rollback tests Some experience highly desirable performing the following tests: Performance Tests Soak Tests Integration testing Stress Tests Mobile applications tests Website Tests 4. Experience Minimum 6 years of relevant IT experience, and Minimum 4 years of automated and manual software testing experience, and experience with Automation Testing tools (e.g., TOSCA), Test Management tool (Qtest, QC), Requirements and Defect Management tools (Jira), Code Quality Review tools (e.g., SonarQube), Test Execution Monitoring tools (Splunk). tool (Qtest, QC), Requirements and Defect Management tools (Jira), Code Quality Review tools (e.g., SonarQube), Test Execution Monitoring tools (Splunk). 5. Education University degree (master or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
