Platform Integration Engineer - Low Level / 5G / Physical Layer We are currently partnered with a leading semiconductor company in France specializing in cellular semiconductor solutions for broadband and IoT markets. They are looking to expand their team with a Platform Integration Engineer to validate the low-level physical layer software of 4G & 5G solutions This is a permanent opportunity based onsite in Paris, France. Key Responsibilities for this Platform Integration Engineer position: Define validation strategies for ASIC baseband hardware blocks, collaborating with teams across ASIC, HW Design, Algorithms, Layer 1, Software, and external partners. Create and maintain drivers, test applications, and implement bare-metal code for boot and hardware tests. Solve issues in collaboration with development teams, identifying bugs and suggesting architectural modifications. Provide exceptional support to R&D teams to ensure smooth operations. Key Requirements: Strong experience in hardware and embedded software development. Familiarity with porting/integrating RTOS (e.g., Zephir, eCOS) and driver development. Expert in bare-metal C/C++/ASM development. Experience with platform prototyping (e.g., FPGA, Palladium) and debugging tools like JTAG. Proficiency with UART, I2S, SPI, USB, and Ethernet interfaces. Knowledge of PHY layers in 5G or LTE is a plus.
