Role: Senior Python Engineer (Neo4j/Neptune, Cypher) Contract Location: Fully Remote (UK-Based) Rate: £550£600/day (Outside IR35) Duration: 612 months Interview Process: Two stages Tech Stack: Python, Neo4j/Neptune, Cypher, Flask, FastAPI, GCP, BigQuery About the Role: Weve partnered with a consultancy trusted by FTSE 100 and S&P 500 companies to deliver high-quality customer solutions. Youll design, implement, and optimize backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure using best practices while collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement APIs and backend solutions. Monitor, test, and continuously optimize solutions. Explain technical solutions in client meetings. Requirements: Strong experience with Neo4j/Neptune and Cypher. Familiarity with SQL, RDBMS, and key-value databases. Experience with GCP (e.g., Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, BigQuery) or similar AWS services. Proficiency in Python web frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI) for building APIs and system integration. Nice to Have: Experience with Agile methodologies. Knowledge of Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. Additional Info: This role is outside IR35. Applicants must be UK-based with a registered company or willing to contract via an umbrella company.
