Senior Site Reliability Engineer Location : London (3–4 days in-office per week) Salary : Up to £105,000 A leading organization in the financial services industry is seeking a talented Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their established technology team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge infrastructure, middleware, and CI/CD systems, driving performance, scalability, and reliability in a dynamic environment. About the Role: The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will: Design, implement, and optimize infrastructure solutions to support the organization’s growth. Develop robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and integration processes. Enhance the reliability and scalability of systems critical to the business. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold security and best practices. What my client is looking for: The ideal candidate will bring the following expertise: Cloud Technologies : Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation). Containerization & Microservices : In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and microservice architecture. Infrastructure as Code : Proficiency with Terraform and/or Ansible. CI/CD : Experience with tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity. Programming : Proficiency in Python, Golang, Bash, or similar languages, within SCM environments like GitHub or Bitbucket. Networking & Systems Administration : Familiarity with DNS, firewalls, load balancing, Linux/Windows administration, and security best practices. Monitoring & Databases : Hands-on experience with tools like ELK, CloudWatch, or Fluentd, alongside SQL/NoSQL databases and queuing systems such as Kafka or SQS.
