Process Team Leader (COOKING SAUCES & MAYONNAISE)

POSITION : PROCESS TEAM LEADER (COOKING SAUCES & MAYONNAISE) LOCATION : NORTHERN SUBURBS JHB SALARY : MARKET RELATED Main purpose of the role: Responsible for day-to-day management of the food manufacturing process, ensuring achievement of a daily plan, in compliance with business KPIs, health and safety objectives. Responsible for supporting the Production Group Leader in achieving production targets and efficiencies. Assisting the Production Group Leader with the day-to-day management (including people management) and reporting for the areas under their responsibility. Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience: COMPLETED Matric Mechanical Engineering N3 N6 advantageous Microbiological background/understanding, More than 2 years' experience in a supervisory/leadership role, MUST have 2 years' experience with cooking sauces OR mayonnaise's. MUST have a Counterbalance Forklift License NON NEGOTIABLE Minimum 2 years experience within a Manufacturing / production related facility. Experience in a manufacturing environment in responsible roles. FMCG/Food Manufacturing experience Essential Must understand LEAN principles. Knowledge of ERP System preferably SAP but training will be provided Experience as a key operator. Characteristics: Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills. Must be able to efficiently operate a PC, and have basic MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills. Computer Literate. Numeracy and Literacy proficient. Strong leadership skills Key Responsibilities: Safety, Food Safety and People Management Productivity Improvement and Implementation Quality Control, Inspections, PCDS and QM System Reports and Internal Relations Inventory Internal audits and managing findings.
