Contracts and Compliance Manager Location : Bank, London Salary : £65,000 per annum Work Type : Full-time, Permanent Hybrid Work : 3 days in the office (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) About the Company : My client is a rapidly growing tech recruitment agency looking for a Contracts and Compliance Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a critical hire as they are experiencing significant growth. The successful candidate will work closely with their Head of Compliance and Risk, and the existing contracts and compliance team, supporting the day-to-day business operations. The role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Role Overview : This is a hands-on role in the contracts and compliance team, ensuring smooth operations and business-as-usual tasks are executed effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance, contract management, and recruitment onboarding processes. You will be responsible for issuing contracts, ensuring compliance, handling candidate onboarding, and managing team workflows, while also providing oversight for international recruitment compliance, including in Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the US. Key Responsibilities : Oversee the day-to-day contracts and compliance tasks, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to all policies. Issue contracts to candidates, ensuring they are compliant with internal policies and external regulations. Manage candidate onboarding processes, including compliance checks and IR35 assessments. Liaise with international teams in Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the US, ensuring a cohesive approach to compliance across all regions. Provide oversight for recruitment compliance, particularly in HR employment and onboarding processes. Support process improvement initiatives to enhance the compliance and onboarding experience. Manage a team of 2 direct reports, ensuring effective prioritisation and task delegation. Respond to business queries and ensure timely resolution of compliance-related issues. Actively contribute to team projects and collaborate with the Head of Compliance and Risk to address policy and risk register tasks. Key Skills and Experience : Recruitment experience is desirable, especially in compliance and onboarding within the recruitment industry. Strong understanding of HR employment law and recruitment compliance. Proven ability to manage contracts , including knowledge of IR35 and onboarding processes. Experience with redlining and reviewing contracts. Previous experience managing or leading a team is required. Experience with international compliance or the willingness to learn about international recruitment in markets such as Switzerland, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Exceptional communication skills , both written and verbal, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and manage urgent tasks. A strong desire to implement process improvements and enhance team efficiencies. Additional Desirable Attributes : Prior experience in the tech recruitment industry is highly advantageous. A proactive and self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
