Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Location: Watford Salary: £40k - £50k Car Allowance Pension Healthcare Our Client:- Our client is a leading national residential developer renowned for delivering high-quality, sustainable homes across the UK. The Projects:- Project 1 - Maidenhead - a development consisting of 56 units made up of 1 and 2 bedroom maisonettes, 1 to 2 bedroom apartments and 2, 3, 4, 5, bedroom houses, the scheme is on greenfield land so all necessary utilities and civils work will need to be undertaken Project 2 - Amersham - 200 units on a multi phased site consisting of low rise apartment blocks consisting of 1 & 2 bedroom apartments, 2,3,4 bedroom family homes, on site commercial and retail spaces as well as community services. What We’re Looking For: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). Experience in quantity surveying within the residential housebuilding sector having worked for a UK residential developer or main contractor. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively. A proactive approach with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
