Mechanical Fire Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Fire Engineer to join our team in Midrand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering with a specialization in fire protection systems. Responsibilities: - Design and oversee the installation of fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and smoke detectors - Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify potential fire hazards and recommend solutions - Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for fire protection systems - Collaborate with architects, builders, and other engineers to ensure fire protection systems meet building codes and regulations - Perform regular inspections and maintenance on fire protection equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with standards - Provide technical support and guidance to project teams during the construction phase - Stay current with new developments in fire protection technology and regulations Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field - Professional Engineer (Pr.
