Network Engineer

Are you passionate about building and maintaining cutting-edge network systems? Our client is looking for a talented Network Engineer who will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot network issues, and implement best practices to optimise network performance and security. What you’ll do: Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN). Configure and install various network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers). Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations. Monitor network performance, analyse network traffic, and optimize network infrastructure. Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution. Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system enhancements to optimize network security and performance. Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation. Provide technical support to end-users and other IT teams. Stay up-to-date with current network technologies and industry best practices by attending networking workshops and pursuing certifications. Your expertise: 3 years proven work experience as a Network Engineer or similar role in network administration. In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols, and security solutions. Hands-on experience with networking devices and network diagnostic tools. Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux), databases, and virtualisation. Qualifications: Professional Certification such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Network, or equivalent.
