Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Devise and execute effective Marketing strategies for carbon products to maximize profitability and market share Market Research: Conduct thorough market research in the South African territories to identify market trends, demand patterns, and competitor activities Territorial Expertise: Possess an in-depth understanding of the South African carbon market, including regulatory, economic, and industry factors influencing trading activities Client Identification and Sourcing: Identify and source potential corporate clients within the South African market, establishing new business relationships and expanding the client base Achieve Targets: Meet and exceed assigned targets for coal sales volume, revenue, and profitability in alignment with organizational goals Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong connections and relationships with industry stakeholders, clients, and suppliers to enhance business opportunities and foster long-term partnerships Networking: Engage in networking events, industry conferences, and forums to expand professional connections, stay updated with industry trends, and leverage networking opportunities for business growth Qualifications: Bachelorâs degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Metallurgical Engineering or a related field Proven experience in coal Marketing, preferably in the South African market Strong analytical and negotiation skills Excellent understanding of coal market dynamics, regulations, and trading practices Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and result-oriented individual Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed targets
