Trade-Tested Red Seal Welder

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trade-Tested Red Seal Welder to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in manufacturing and fabricating mining equipment for the international mining market. This position requires technical expertise, precision, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding on a variety of materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Fabricate, assemble, and repair mining equipment components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Ensure all welding and fabrication work meets strict quality and safety standards. Inspect completed welds for accuracy, uniformity, and compliance with project requirements. Identify and rectify defects or inconsistencies in welds or fabricated components. Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure efficiency and safety. Perform routine maintenance and report any equipment issues to the supervisor. Work closely with engineers, production teams, and supervisors to ensure project deadlines and specifications are met. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions accurately. Requirements Trade-Tested Red Seal Welder certification Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in the mining or heavy engineering sector.
