Job Description

Hanover have been instructed to find a forward-thinking Non-Life Pricing Actuary to join a dynamic team in Paris. Key Responsibilities Pricing Strategy Development : Design and implement non-life insurance pricing models using advanced statistical, actuarial, and machine learning techniques. AI Integration : Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to incorporate AI-driven insights into pricing strategies and underwriting processes. Risk Analysis : Analyse large datasets to identify trends, assess risks, and optimize pricing models. Tool Development : Contribute to the development of proprietary tools and platforms that leverage AI and automation to enhance pricing accuracy and efficiency. Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with underwriters, product managers, and senior leadership to align pricing strategies with business goals. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all pricing models and strategies comply with French and European regulatory requirements. Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on the latest technological advancements and actuarial methodologies to continuously enhance pricing models and processes. Key Requirements Education : Qualified actuary (or close to qualification) with a focus on non-life insurance. Experience : Minimum 3-5 years of experience in non-life pricing, with exposure to AI and advanced analytics highly desirable. Technical Skills : Proficiency in actuarial software (e.g., Emblem, Radar) and programming languages such as Python or R. Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a strong advantage. Analytical Mindset : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights. Collaboration : Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders. Language Skills : Fluent in French and English.
