HCL Software Position : Product Sales Specialist Location : France Job Category : Sales Role : Individual Contributor Experience : 5 Years About the Role As a Product Sales Specialist at HCL Software, you will be at the forefront of driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base for AppScan , our premier security software solution. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for technology, a knack for sales, and a consultative approach to solving complex business challenges. You will act as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and clients, delivering technical expertise, building lasting partnerships, and achieving sales success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Be the Expert : Serve as a subject matter expert and evangelist for AppScan , delivering engaging presentations, demos, and workshops to stakeholders at all levels, including Developers, Architects, IT Managers, and CxOs. Pipeline Generation : Build and manage a robust sales pipeline of high-value accounts, ensuring achievement of acquisition and revenue goals. Deal Leadership : Act as a complex deal coach and executive sponsor, providing strategic guidance to close key opportunities. Collaborative Selling : Partner with the sales team to craft compelling proposals and solutions tailored to client needs. Cross-Functional Coordination : Work closely with internal support teams to streamline processes and ensure seamless execution throughout the sales cycle. Partner Enablement : Train and develop HCL Software partners, equipping them with the technical and sales capabilities to promote AppScan effectively. Executive Engagement : Present and negotiate with senior executives, both internally and externally, to drive alignment and decision-making. Achieve Sales Targets : Meet and exceed sales objectives by employing a customer-centric, solutions-focused approach. Solution Selling : Understand customer requirements and propose customized solutions, including delivering live demos to showcase the value of AppScan . Opportunity Qualification : Utilize frameworks such as MEDDPICC or BANT to qualify and manage sales opportunities effectively. What You'll Bring Experience : 5 years in sales or pre-sales within the enterprise software industry, with a focus on security software solutions . Proven Success : Demonstrated ability to generate new business, meet targets, and build long-term partnerships. Executive Selling : Experience selling to C-level executives with consultative and value-based sales skills. Presentation Skills : Exceptional ability to deliver impactful, executive-level presentations. Technical Expertise : Familiarity with competitive technologies such as Veracode, Checkmarx, OpenText, and Qualys , along with a deep understanding of market positioning. Language Proficiency : Fluency in French and English is mandatory to collaborate effectively with local customers. Soft Skills : Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Why Join Us?
