Short description of the work field: We are expanding our Product Services team in France and are seeking a Field Technical Service Specialist TBR (Truck & Bus Tyres) to join our commercial organization as the technical representative of Apollo in the field. In this role, you’ll focus on enhancing the registration and resolution of customer complaints, prioritizing speed and quality within the local market to improve customer satisfaction. You will make sure tyre performance monitoring is well implemented and ensure TBR Sales Account Managers follow suit, setting a high standard through your own example. This position reports directly to the Divisional Head TBR - Product & Services Europe and will have a matrix line reporting to Head of Cluster. What will be your role in more detail? - Customer and Technical Support: You will act as the primary point of contact for technical expertise needed by customers and internal staff. You will ensure all claims from dealers and users are accurately registered in the portal, whether accepted or rejected. You will analyze claims as first layer to determine if they are technical and if so then will be collaborating with the (PTS) department on escalation cases. - Training and Knowledge Sharing: You will deliver technical training sessions for both internal teams and customers to enhance product understanding and effective usage. - Product and Performance Monitoring: You will implement tyre performance monitoring by TBR Account Managers, preparing reports that highlight product effectiveness. You will conduct field activities, including early warning reporting, observations, and gathering customer insights and feedback. You will oversee fleet monitoring of new tyre ranges (seed marketing) to assess performance. - Collaboration and Strategic Communication: You will collaborate closely with R&D, PTS counterparts to address issues, ensure consistency in Apollo Tyres warranty policies, and align on performance monitoring programs. You will also collect and relay product, technical and customer requirements from the market to the Product Management Team through regular reports. Are you our ideal candidate? We’re looking for a service-oriented, adaptable self-starter with experience in the tyre / automotive industry. Having Truck & Bus tyres experience is a plus. The ideal candidate is skilled in reporting, technically sound, an effective communicator, and fluent in English and French (additional European languages like Spanish are a plus). Do you have what it takes? (requirements) - Bachelor’s degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Over 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a background in sales or product development. - In-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience within the tyre industry. - Strong understanding of product category differences in the tire business, with solid technical insight into various applications. - Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 75% of the time in the field). - Proficient in using IT systems like Tire Check to track, monitor, and analyze tyre mileage in targeted fleets. Dans ce rôle, vous vous concentrerez sur l'amélioration de l'enregistrement et de la résolution des réclamations des clients, en donnant la priorité à la rapidité et à la qualité sur le marché local pour améliorer la satisfaction des clients. Vous vous assurerez que le suivi des performances de nos pneumatiques est bien mis en œuvre et que les responsables commerciaux de notre activité poids lourd, en établissant des normes élevées grâce à votre propre expérience. Ce poste relève directement du chef de division TBR - Produits et services Europe et aura une ligne matricielle relevant du chef de cluster. Quel sera votre rôle plus en détail ? - Support client et technique : Vous agirez en tant que point de contact principal pour l'expertise technique nécessaire aux clients et au personnel interne. Vous veillerez à ce que toutes les réclamations de nos partenaires et des utilisateurs soient enregistrées avec précision dans le portail. Vous analyserez les réclamations pour déterminer si elles sont techniques et si tel est le cas, vous collaborerez avec le département technique Europe. - Formation et partage de connaissances : vous animerez des sessions de formation technique pour les équipes internes et les clients afin d'améliorer la compréhension de nos produits et leurs utilisations. - Suivi des produits et des performances : Vous mettrez en œuvre un suivi rigoureux des performances des pneus vendus par les responsables des comptes poids lourd, en préparant des rapports mettant en évidence les performances de nos produits. Vous mènerez des activités sur le terrain, notamment des rapports d’alerte précoce, des observations et la collecte d’informations et de commentaires des clients. Vous superviserez le suivi de la flotte des nouvelles gammes de pneus pour évaluer leurs performances. - Collaboration et communication stratégique : vous collaborerez étroitement avec les homologues R&D et du centre technique pour résoudre les problèmes, assurer la cohérence des politiques de garantie d'Apollo Tyres et vous aligner sur les programmes de surveillance des performances. Vous collecterez également les exigences produit, techniques de nos clients du marché domestique et relayerez ces informations à l'équipe de gestion produit par le biais de rapports réguliers.
