Role Overview Our client is looking to hire a Senior Interest Rate Sales Specialist to support their ambitious growth plans. The successful candidate will work closely with an established hedge fund client base, delivering tailored trade ideas, executing complex trades, and driving revenue growth. The role will involve covering OTC interest rate derivatives, swaps, and listed futures while leveraging the firm’s proprietary platform to optimize client outcomes. Key Responsibilities Client Engagement : Develop and manage relationships with institutional clients, particularly hedge funds and portfolio management teams trading macro and interest rate products, to identify and maximize opportunities. Trade Idea Generation : Present data-driven, actionable trade ideas utilizing the firm’s proprietary technology and analytics. Team Leadership : Mentor junior team members, fostering their development and contributing to overall team success. Collaboration : Work closely with execution teams, technology specialists, and senior leadership to align client strategies with broader business objectives. Market Expertise : Stay ahead of global market trends and regulatory developments to provide informed advice and recommendations. Requirements & Qualifications Demonstrated track record in sales of interest rate derivatives and related products. Established relationships with hedge fund desks that trade interest rates, even if limited to 1-2 close relationships, with a proven ability to expand relationships. Strong network within the hedge fund community, particularly with teams trading interest rate products Comprehensive understanding of OTC products, swaps, listed futures, and trade execution processes. Proven ability to generate client-centric solutions and drive revenue. Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
