Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Solar Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team and help us expand our reach in the growing solar energy market. As a Solar Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in driving sales and business development for solar energy solutions. You will work directly with clients to assess their energy needs, propose tailored solar systems, and close sales. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing sales, providing you with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the renewable energy industry. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the solar energy market. Conduct site assessments and energy audits to determine the best solar energy solutions for clients. Prepare and deliver presentations to potential customers, explaining the benefits and technical aspects of solar solutions. Develop customized proposals and quotations based on customer needs and energy consumption patterns. Collaborate with internal engineering and installation teams to ensure accurate system design and implementation. Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and market regulations to effectively sell solar solutions. Provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and optimize system performance. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and other industry professionals. Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company. Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the solar energy or renewable energy sector. Strong technical understanding of solar PV systems, including design, installation, and performance optimization. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to assess customer needs and propose effective solutions. Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach and the ability to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to client sites.
