Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee the preparation of monthly management reports and variance analysis to assess financial health. Provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Prepare forecasts, budgets, and reports to track financial performance against targets. Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Develop strategies to streamline and automate processes to reduce costs. Strategic Financial Management: Support senior management with financial insights for strategic planning and investment opportunities. Contribute to the development and execution of financial strategies to enhance profitability. Cash Flow Management : Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital. Implement effective cash management strategies to optimize financial resources. Annual Financial Audits: Manage annual audits, liaising with auditors and providing necessary documentation. Team Leadership and Development: Lead a team of financial analysts, mentoring them to foster professional growth. Promote a collaborative, innovative work environment. Minimum Requirements: Education : CA(SA) or CIMA Preference for candidates from: UCT, UJ, University of Pretoria, Wits Experience: 5-10 years post-articles experience (outside of auditing). Proven experience as a Financial Manager, with expertise in financial planning, reporting, and analysis. Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (Excel, ERP systems). Demonstrated leadership and experience in managing high-performing teams. Strong strategic thinker with a focus on driving business results. Skills & Competencies: Advanced proficiency in Excel Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and financial modeling skills. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
