Payroll Clerk

We are looking for a organised Payroll Clerk with expertise in processing accurate and timely payroll. Skilled in maintaining records, handling payroll discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with regulations. What you’ll do: Maintains the payroll information from HR Personnel files, calculation and entering of data. Ensuring all data is updated within the Human Resources system in a timely manner. Ensure that leave is accurately and timeously captured and that the accrued leave is managed monthly. Gather all payroll related data. Update salary sheets and schedules. Answer and clarify employees on payroll related inquiries. Assist administrative or finance staff in processing payrolls of new hires or terminated ones. Maintaining accuracy and integrity of the payroll systems information. Compiling of provident submission documentation and submission to Service. Delivery Consultant for sign off. Drafting of employment related contracts and agreements. Drafting of Termination related documentation. Completion of UIF documents. Your expertise: 2-3 years’ experience within payroll / payroll shared services environment. Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator / Clerk, HR Assistant or similar role. Experience working in high pressurised and fast paced environments with tight deadlines. Following process / procedures as per Governance principles. Proficient in Microsoft Office package (Advanced). Proven experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications: Grade 12 Tertiary education, preferably a Payroll Administration or finance qualification. Completed or working towards HR Qualification will be advantageous.
