Product Manager - Pet Food Industry

Our client, a prominent player in the pet food industry, is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and marketing of their product lines. This role is crucial in driving product innovation and ensuring that market needs and deadlines are met, contributing significantly to the company's growth. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring products meet market demands and align with business objectives. Develop and implement product marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive sales growth. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align product offerings with customer expectations and market trends. Manage project timelines and deadlines, ensuring product launches are timely and successful. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless product development and execution. Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to identify product improvement and innovation opportunities. Prepare product-related documentation, including marketing plans, product specifications, and launch schedules. Act as the main point of contact for all product-related queries, providing insights and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field is advantageous. A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, preferably within the pet food industry or a related consumer goods sector. Strong understanding of product marketing, market analysis, and brand management. Excellent leadership, organisational, and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple products and projects simultaneously and work under pressure. Proficiency in marketing and project management tools. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
