Quantum Engineer

You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and scientists to design, fabricate, and characterize advanced quantum devices, contributing to the evolution the clients technology. Responsibilities Work with senior engineers to design and optimize quantum hardware components, leveraging principles from AMO physics. Support the fabrication, assembly, and testing of quantum devices. Conduct experimental research and data analysis to assess the performance and efficiency of quantum hardware systems. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues in hardware components, offering innovative solutions to enhance system performance. Stay informed about the latest developments in quantum technologies and AMO physics, contributing the knowledge base and technical growth. Qualifications PhD in quantum physics, quantum optics, condensed matter physics, or a related field, with a specialization in AMO physics. Solid foundation in quantum mechanics, quantum optics, atomic physics, and relevant theoretical concepts. Hands-on experience with experimental techniques in quantum physics, such as laser systems, vacuum technologies, and control electronics. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++ for data analysis, simulations, and automation. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. A strong drive to contribute to the industrialization of quantum devices.
