Systems Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer subcontractor to join the on-site Eviden Infrastructure Team. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical support, maintaining and optimizing IT systems, and collaborating with both internal and external teams to ensure the seamless operation of infrastructure services for the customer. Key Responsibilities: Provide on-site L3 technical support to the customer’s operational teams, handling incidents and ensuring minimal downtime. Manage incidents related to the EES infrastructure, collaborating closely with the customer’s operational teams and LIA’s infrastructure architects to perform root cause analysis and resolve issues. Perform regular infrastructure maintenance activities, leveraging and extending automation to improve efficiency. Contribute to specialized projects within your area of expertise, offering input on infrastructure improvements and optimizations. Required Skills & Experience: At least 5 years of experience in ICT as a System Engineer or in similar roles (e.g., Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer). Administrator-level proficiency with at least one commercial or open-source tool in these domains: Working knowledge of Ansible, Python, and Linux Shell Scripting. Experience with Ansible Tower/Automation Platform and Git. Analytical mindset, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in high-pressure environments. Familiarity with ITIL V3 principles and best practices in service management. Desirable Attributes: Previous experience working with Public Sector or other international institutions is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. English Proficiency (C1 or higher). Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
