Senior GNC Systems Engineer

Darwin Recruitment are hiring for a Senior GNC Engineer on behalf of a company that was founded in 2017 and are a NewSpace company from Toulouse pushing the boundaries of in-orbit services with cutting-edge spacecraft driven by its own Rendez-Vous solution, an advanced Autonomous Vision-Based Navigation Solution. Their mission is to provide geostationary operators with all the in-orbit services they need, from the inspection of their assets to the extension of their lifespan and the management of the end of life phase. We are seeking a skilled and motivated GNC Systems Engineer to join their Rendezvous team in Toulouse. This role is key to the development and enhancement of our Rendezvous solution, contributing directly to the mission's success through systems engineering and problem-solving capabilities. Job Description Manage and refine system requirements to ensure alignment with project goals and operational parameters. Foster and maintain robust relationships with suppliers and clients. Identify and establish connections with new collaborators. Actively participate in the definition of Rendezvous ConOps (Concept of Operations) and Safety Concepts, including Failure Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR) strategies. Support the development and execution of GNC Validation & Verification processes to ensure the reliability and efficacy of the Rendezvous solution. Requirements Master's degree or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 3 years experience in GNC/AOCS systems within the aerospace sector, particularly in spacecraft or satellite operations. Excellent project management skills, with experience managing requirements and interfacing with international suppliers and collaborators. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment Strong communication in English and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff and external partners.
