Marketing Sponsorship Manager - B2B Conferences & Exhibitions Position Overview: We are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Marketing Sponsorship Manager to join our fast-growing B2B conference and exhibition company. This is a pivotal role for a marketing professional with a strong grasp of lead generation, digital marketing, and content creation to step into a strategic position that blends marketing expertise with sponsorship sales enablement. The successful candidate will design and execute high-impact sponsorship marketing campaigns, generate quality sponsorship leads, and partner with the sponsorship team to nurture and convert these leads. The role offers a unique opportunity to develop ABM (Account-Based Marketing) and broader marketing strategies for key partnership segments, driving measurable growth across several fast-scaling events. This role is perfect for someone hands-on, adaptable, and quick-thinking, with a passion for creative marketing and exceptional organizational skills. A background in digital marketing, copywriting, and social media engagement is essential. Key Responsibilities Analyse campaign performance and refine strategies to improve lead quality and conversions. Build and research a database of relevant sponsorship leads through partnerships, sourcing, and data-driven campaigns. Collaborate with the sponsorship team on nurturing campaigns to move leads through the funnel and secure sponsorship deals. Develop and manage sponsorship marketing budgets with clear ROI expectations. Create and optimize PPC campaigns and engaging content for sponsorship pages to improve inbound traffic. Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce and HubSpot) to manage and analyze data, create list-building strategies, and report results. Create compelling, customer-centric copy for marketing materials across multiple industries. Develop engaging sponsorship messaging, promotional materials, and campaign content with a creative approach to design. Maintain and grow customer engagement across platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter through active participation in online discussions and repurposing content. Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners to create innovative collaborations that enhance sponsorship opportunities. Negotiate with senior media partners to deliver added value for the business. Work closely with internal teams, including production, design, and external developers, to ensure seamless execution of campaigns. Contribute to team training, oversee campaign performance, and lead strategic discussions with the production department. Qualifications and Skills Marketing Expertise: Confidence in multi-channel marketing strategies, growth planning, and campaign execution. Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging, customer-focused copy. Digital Marketing Savvy: Proficiency in SEO, PPC, SEM, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce and HubSpot). Results-Oriented: Proven track record of delivering campaigns that meet or exceed KPIs within deadline and budget. Organizational Skills: Highly methodical, detail-oriented, and process-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally. Creative and Entrepreneurial Mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving and an enthusiasm for trying innovative ideas.
