Corporate Associate – Public M&A - Elite US Law Firm (London) Taylor Root has recently been instructed on an exciting opportunity with an Elite US law firm seeking a junior to mid-level Corporate Associate with at least 2 years’ PQE to join their highly regarded London office. This role offers the chance to work on complex and high-profile UK public M&A transactions within a globally recognised team, offering exceptional exposure to the market’s most significant deals. The role will see you working under a high-profile partner who has a stellar reputation in UK public M&A and extensive experience advising on market-leading deals. You will be involved in: Takeovers and schemes of arrangement. Strategic cross-border M&A transactions. Corporate governance and compliance with the UK Takeover Code. Broader corporate finance matters across a wide range of industry sectors, including technology, natural resources, defence, real estate, and more. What our client is looking for: A UK qualified solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE. Strong academic background and training at a leading City or international law firm. A proven track record in Corporate law, ideally with exposure to public M&A and the UK Takeover Code. Candidates with mixed public/private M&A experience will also be considered, provided there is a willingness to specialise in public M&A. Exceptional technical, drafting, and client-handling skills.
