Software Engineer

Software Engineer (Remote) Salary: £50k - £60k A company that specializes in AI-powered software for the 3D Printing industry is hiring a Software Engineer to join its team. This role is a remote position, with travel to the London office occasionally. Responsibilities Smoothly take machine integrations from the initial contract through development & validation to successful client workflows Perform software development tasks including requirements capture, software design, validation, communication with clients, troubleshooting, and attending client sites Run integration test scripts for client development of new integrations Support Customer Success and Commercial teams in client meetings, code reviews, and capturing integration status Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Maths, or a related field Proficiency in Java and structured methodology of requirements and detailed communication with clients Strong ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team Excellent attention to detail, use of Git, and ability to predict and cover all possible failure cases Experience with Jira for personal case management and backlog Optional Requirements Frontend Web Knowledge, particularly ReactJS - Typescript Experience developing hardware systems, particularly robotic systems Strong Linux background Experience with ROS Day-to-day As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will work remotely, collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless machine integrations, perform software development tasks, and support customer success and commercial teams.
