Finance Manager

Your new company My client is a medium-sized charity based in London, but with offices across the world. Your new role My role is Finance Manager on a temporary basis to cover sick leave. The role is expected to be for around 3 months. It is supervising 3 - 4 staff. The role will include: Lead the Accounts Receivable and Payable functions Manage the cashflow and lead on the treasury function Produce monthly management accounts reports for review Running month-end process including accruals, prepayments, balance sheet and reviewing cash reconciliations Continue to roll out the functionality of their system Workday Undertake variance and performance analysis and assist with budgeting & forecasting Provide ad-hoc financial analysis with insightful narrative for budget holders Day-to-day oversight of project cash requirements, including being a key point of contact with external stakeholders and managing the approval of payments Assist in enhancing the internal financial controls and procedures within the Finance team What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed, you will need Strong understanding of financial policies & processes Strong communication skills and be confident and clear in presenting financial information to stakeholders Excellent skills in cashflow forecasting and working capital optimisation An understanding of international treasury, payments, and banking systems is highly desirable What you'll get in return In return, you will have the opportunity to work with a growing charity and shape the development of their finance team.
