SAP SLT Consultant - Implementation & Configuration

Key Responsibilities : SLT Implementation and Configuration : - Design, implement, and configure SAP SLT (Landscape Transformation) for real-time data replication between SAP and non-SAP systems. - Set up and manage SLT replication from various source systems (e.g, SAP ERP, non-SAP systems) to target systems, including SAP HANA, SAP BW, or other databases. - Analyze source system landscapes, define integration requirements, and provide technical guidance on SLT setup. System Integration : - Work with business and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into SLT integration solutions. - Integrate data sources, ensuring data integrity, real-time replication, and accurate data flow to the target systems. - Provide expertise in SAP SLT for integrating different types of data, including transactional and master data. Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning : - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data replication, system performance, and SLT configurations. - Monitor and optimize SLT jobs and processes to ensure minimal downtime and maximum data throughput. - Conduct performance tuning of SAP SLT processes and improve replication efficiency. Collaboration and Documentation : - Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure end-to-end integration of SAP systems and business applications. - Develop detailed documentation for SLT configurations, system settings, and replication scenarios. - Provide support for troubleshooting during the implementation phase and beyond, ensuring smooth operations. Support and Maintenance : - Provide ongoing support for SAP SLT-related issues, including incidents, requests, and system upgrades. - Maintain and manage SLT system landscapes, ensuring they stay current with new releases and patches. - Ensure compliance with SAP SLT best practices and enterprise integration standards. Knowledge Sharing and Training : - Mentor junior consultants and team members in SAP SLT practices and implementation strategies. - Conduct training sessions for clients or internal teams on SLT setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Required Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Experience : - Minimum of [X] years of experience working with SAP SLT in an implementation, support, or consulting role. - Proven track record of SAP SLT implementations, configuration, and support across various SAP and non-SAP systems. Technical Skills : - Proficiency in SAP SLT, SAP HANA, SAP BW, and SAP ERP. - Strong understanding of SAP Data Services, Data Replication, SAP PI/PO, and SAP BW/4HANA integration tools. - Experience with ABAP, SQL, Scripting, and basic knowledge of SAP Basis for troubleshooting SLT issues. - Knowledge of SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) and experience with HANA Smart Data Integration (SDI) is a plus. - Understanding of SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) for integration with cloud-based applications is an advantage. Soft Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams. - Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, business users, and technical teams. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in parallel. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Desired Skills and Experience : - In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA architecture and integration scenarios. - Experience with real-time data replication from SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP SLT. - Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 for developing user interfaces that interact with SAP SLT solutions. - Knowledge of other SAP data management tools such as SAP Data Services and SAP BW/4HANA. - Previous experience in migration projects involving SAP HANA or SAP BW (ref:hirist.tech)
