Senior RPA Developer - UiPath/Blue Prism

Overview: The Senior RPA Developer plays a crucial role in automating and optimizing business processes using cutting-edge Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies. As a leader in developing RPA solutions, this position is responsible for improving operational efficiency, enhancing productivity, and reducing costs across various departments. The Senior RPA Developer will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to assess automation opportunities, design efficient workflows, and lead the implementation of RPA solutions. Additionally, the role includes mentoring junior developers, establishing best practices, and contributing to the overall RPA strategy aligned with the company's goals. Key Responsibilities : Business Process Automation : - Analyze and assess business processes to identify automation opportunities that align with business goals. - Design and develop RPA solutions using UiPath or similar RPA tools, ensuring automation delivers measurable business value. - Create process flow diagrams, detailed documentation, and design specifications for automation processes. Development and Testing : - Develop, test, and deploy RPA bots, ensuring solutions meet high-quality standards. - Conduct unit testing, and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) of RPA solutions. - Monitor and troubleshoot RPA applications to ensure optimal performance and resolve issues promptly. Collaboration and Mentorship : - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. - Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior RPA developers, helping them grow and adhere to best practices. - Participate in the review and improvement of development standards and practices. Process Optimization and Maintenance : - Continuously monitor and optimize existing RPA solutions to enhance performance and reduce downtime. - Perform regular maintenance, updates, and improvements to ensure bots continue to meet business requirements. Documentation and Compliance : - Document and maintain detailed technical documentation of RPA projects for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes. - Develop and execute change management plans for the deployment of RPA solutions, ensuring smooth transitions. Industry Awareness and Innovation : - Stay up-to-date with the latest RPA tools, trends, and technologies. - Contribute to the strategic planning of the RPA implementation roadmap, driving continuous improvement and innovation within the organization. Required Qualifications : - Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience : - Minimum 5 years of software development experience. - At least 3 years of hands-on experience in RPA development, with a focus on tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, or similar platforms. Technical Skills : - Proficiency in RPA tools (preferably UiPath). - Strong understanding of programming languages such as C#, VB.NET, or Python. - Experience working with database technologies and SQL queries. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in project management.
