Data Engineer - Azure Databricks/SQL

Data Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines that deliver high-quality data to our data warehouse. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to ensure that our data infrastructure meets the needs of the business. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Databricks - Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable SQL code - Implement data warehouse concepts, including slowly changing dimensions and ETL development - Optimize data pipelines for performance - Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to understand data requirements and develop solutions - Stay up-to-date on the latest data engineering technologies and best practices - Document data pipelines and processes Qualifications : - Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role - Experience working with Databricks - Strong SQL skills - Experience with data warehouse concepts, including slowly changing dimensions and ETL development - Experience with performance tuning - Familiarity with DBT (a plus) Experience with data design and architectural patterns (a plus) - Passionate about learning new technologies - Ability to scale up in other areas such as Python (a plus) - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Strong problem-solving skills (ref:hirist.tech)
