About the role As a Senior People Partner , you will be at the forefront of aligning the People strategy with the company's vision, particularly within the Technology team . Reporting directly to the Head of People Experience, with one direct report, you’ll collaborate closely with senior leadership, including the CTO and Engineering Directors, to build and implement impactful people initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment , where you’ll be a trusted advisor to key stakeholders and lead a small team. You will influence key decisions related to performance, reward, talent strategy, and diversity within the tech teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement people strategies that align with business goals, particularly within the Technology function. Ensure Technology teams have an exceptional experience working with HR by collaborating with the wider People Team to deliver hiring, communications, and development strategies. Use data to guide discussions and shape workforce planning, driving decisions with actionable insights. Partner with senior leaders to design adaptable structures that facilitate internal mobility and long-term talent growth. Lead performance discussions, support goal-setting processes, and ensure a clear and fair reward system. Act as an escalation point for complex employee relations issues, focusing on engagement and proactive resolution. Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, coaching leaders to foster diverse talent pipelines and inclusive workplace practices. Significant experience as a People Partner within a Technology-driven business, with a proven track record of influencing senior leadership and navigating organisational complexity. Ability to engage and influence at all levels, acting as a coach and trusted advisor. Strong expertise in shaping future-state organisational structures and optimising for talent. Solid understanding of people data and its use in performance, rewards, and workforce planning. Experience resolving complex employee relations issues with empathy and pragmatism. Leadership experience in managing and developing direct reports. Technical expertise in offshoring, TUPE, and navigating M&A activity is highly desirable. To be successful you will have: Significant experience as a People Partner within a Technology business, with a proven track record of influencing senior leadership and navigating organisational complexity. Experience of partnering with a tech team will be advantageous An ability to engage and influence at all levels, acting as a coach and trusted advisor across teams. Strong experience in shaping future-state organisational structures and optimising for talent. A good understanding of people data and how to use it to inform decisions around performance, rewards, and workforce planning. Be able to resolve complex employee relations issues with empathy and pragmatism. Experience in managing and developing direct reports, helping them grow within the organisation. Experience with offshoring, TUPE, and navigating M&A activity is highly desirable.
