Wordpress Developer - Themes & Plugins

Job Description : We are looking to hire a skilled Word Press developer to design and implement attractive and functional websites for our clients. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates. Key Responsibilities : - Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch. - Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements. - Integrate WordPress with other systems and platforms (e-commerce platforms, CRM systems). - Develop responsive and mobile-friendly websites that provide an excellent user experience across all devices. - Ensure website performance, security, and accessibility. - Develop clean, well-structured, and maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code. - Implement responsive design principles to ensure websites look great on all devices. - Integrate and customize front-end frameworks and libraries (Bootstrap, jQuery). - Develop and maintain WordPress custom post types, taxonomies, and fields. - Work with PHP to extend WordPress functionality and integrate with external APIs. - Optimize website performance and improve page load speed. - Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and understand project scope. - Estimate project timelines and resources. - Communicate project progress and updates to clients and team members. - Conduct thorough testing of websites to ensure functionality, usability, and cross-browser compatibility. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Maintain website security and implement necessary updates. Required Skills & Experience : - 3 years of experience in WordPress development. - Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. - Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development. - Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility. - Experience with version control systems (Git). - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desired Skills & Experience : - Experience with headless WordPress. - Experience with WordPress REST API. - Experience with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify). - Experience with SEO and website optimization (ref:hirist.tech)
