RPA Developer - Blue Prism

Key Responsibilities : Robotics Process Automation (RPA) : - Analyze and understand business processes to identify automation opportunities. - Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Blue Prism. - Develop reusable components, frameworks, and libraries to standardize automation processes. - Ensure adherence to automation best practices, governance frameworks, and security guidelines. Software Development : - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for automation scripts and solutions. - Integrate RPA solutions with enterprise applications, third-party APIs, and legacy systems. - Conduct thorough unit, integration, and performance testing of automation solutions. - Develop scripts and workflows for error handling, logging, and monitoring. Collaboration and Communication : - Collaborate with business analysts, SMEs, and stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements. - Translate business process definitions into clear, executable automation workflows. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and project teams. Monitoring and Troubleshooting : - Monitor deployed automations to ensure smooth execution and promptly address incidents. - Conduct root cause analysis and implement fixes for production-level issues. - Use RPA monitoring tools to track bot performance and adherence to SLAs. Process Optimization and Documentation : - Continuously optimize existing RPA processes for better performance, reliability, and scalability. - Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical and process documentation, including process maps, solution designs, and user guides. Required Skills and Qualifications : Technical Expertise : - Over 5 years of experience in Robotics Process Automation (RPA) with hands-on expertise in Blue Prism. - Strong programming skills in C#, VB.NET, Python, or Java. - Proficiency in Blue Prism Control Room, Work Queues, and Scheduler. - Expertise in working with APIs (REST/SOAP) for system integrations. - Strong understanding of OCR technologies (i.e., ABBYY, Google Vision) for intelligent document processing. - Experience in integrating with enterprise systems like ERP (SAP/Oracle), CRM (Salesforce/Dynamics), or custom applications. DevOps and Deployment : - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for RPA deployments. - Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes for scalable automation. Database and Data Handling : - Strong knowledge of SQL and database management for RPA data integrations. - Familiarity with data transformation and ETL processes in RPA contexts. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills : - Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to debug and optimize processes. - Ability to identify inefficiencies in manual processes and design automation solutions accordingly. Communication Skills : - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with stakeholders effectively. - Ability to deliver technical presentations and conduct training sessions for end-users and project teams. Certifications : - Blue Prism Developer Certification is mandatory. Preferred certifications : - Blue Prism Professional Developer Certification - UiPath or Automation Anywhere Certification (a plus) Education : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Skills and Qualifications : - Experience in AI/ML-powered automation for intelligent decision-making. - Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools (i.e., Camunda, Appian). - Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for deploying RPA solutions. - Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA for incident tracking. - Advanced skills in scripting and automation using PowerShell or Bash (ref:hirist.tech)
