Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced and skilled Software Engineer to join our team as a Low-Code Software Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying low-code applications using Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio), and OutSystems. This role requires strong technical expertise in software development, architecture, and implementation of low-code solutions. Key Responsibilities : 1. Design and Develop Low-Code Applications : - Design and develop complex business applications using PowerPlatform, and OutSystems. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional specification - Develop high-quality code that meets the requirements and adheres to coding standards. 2. Implement Integration and APIs : - Integrate low-code applications with various systems, services, and data sources using APIs, web services, or other integration mechanisms. - Design and implement RESTful APIs to expose data and functionality for consumption by other applications. 3. 3. User Interface (UI) Development : - Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for low-code applications using Power Apps, and OutSystems UI components. - Ensure that UI elements are accessible, responsive, and meet accessibility standards. 4. Identity and Access Management (IAM) : - Implement IAM solutions to manage user identities, permissions, and access controls in low-code applications. - Design and develop authentication mechanisms using Power Automate, Dataverse security features. 5. Authorization and Security : - Implement authorization mechanisms to control access to sensitive data and functionality in low-code applications. - Ensure that security best practices are followed when developing and deploying low-code applications. 6. Test and Deploy Applications : - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of low-code applications. - Collaborate with QA teams to identify defects and resolve them in a timely manner. - Deploy low-code applications to production environments, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime. 7. Troubleshoot and Optimize Applications : - Troubleshoot issues related to low-code applications, including performance,security, and data integrity concerns. - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement optimizations. 8. Stay Up-to-Date with Technology Trends : - Stay current with the latest features, updates, and best practices in Power Platform, and OutSystems. - Participate in training and knowledge-sharing sessions to stay up-to-date on industry trends. Requirements : 1. Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 2. Experience : - 4 years of experience in software development with a focus on low-code platforms (Power Platform, and OutSystems). - Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git). 3. Technical Skills : - Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), OutSystem - Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and architecture. - Familiarity with cloud-based services (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and data storage solutions (e.g., Dataverse, SQL Server, Oracle). 4. UI Development Skills : - Experience with UI frameworks such as Power Apps (Canvas / Model-driven), OutSystems UI components. - Knowledge of design principles, user experience, and accessibility standards. 5. IAM and Authorization Skills : - Familiarity with IAM concepts, including authentication, authorization, and identity management. - Experience with implementing IAM solutions using Power Automate, OutSystems security features. 6. Soft Skills : - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders. Nice-to-Have : 1. Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker). 2. Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts. 3. Certification in MIcrosoft Azure Power Platform (ref:hirist.tech)
