Mechanical Fitter

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing automation client that produces a range of bespoke machinery for industries including Aerospace, Renewable Energy, Construction, and Food & Beverage. Supporting projects from concept to completion, this role as a Mechanical Fitter offers an exciting opportunity for in-house machine build assembly, with occasional on-site support required. Working Monday to Friday with flexible hours, this role provides the perfect blend of variety and flexibility. We are seeking a time-served Mechanical Fitter with experience in a machine build environment and a strong mechanical skillset. The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, and thrive on technical challenges. A friendly, outgoing personality is essential to ensure an excellent customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Install and commission bespoke projects both in-house and on-site. Fitting and machine build of production machinery Machine assembly and installations Interpret engineering assembly drawings accurately to ensure precise assembly. Act as a liaison between project teams and customers, offering technical support.
