School Site Assistant (Caretaker) - Bristol Salary: Grade 7; from £29,166 (including shift allowance of £3,581.76 per annum) Hours: 37 per week, alternating shift pattern: - 7.00 am to 3.30 pm and 2.00 pm to 10.30 pm Monday - Thursday - 7.00 am to 3.00 pm and 2.00 pm to 10.00 pm Friday You will also be required to work one weekend in four for which you will be paid additionally as overtime. Duties will include security of the site, minor maintenance work, cleaning and portering, liaison with contractors and persons hiring the site, and responding to emergency out-of-hour call-outs. The successful applicant will have practical handyman expertise and be willing to work as part of a team. You may also act as the school's first aider as required, training will be provided for this.
