Business Analyst – 3-Month Contract - Cardiff Rate: £350–£400 per day (IR35 status still to be determined) Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite in Cardiff, South Wales, 3 days remote) Start Date: ASAP We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a fast-paced team for a 3-month contract. This role focuses on improving business processes, capturing IT and digital project requirements, and supporting project delivery. If you have strong Azure DevOps or Jira experience, Agile knowledge, and a proactive approach, we’d love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: Analyse business processes to identify opportunities for automation, system improvements, and better documentation. Engage with stakeholders to capture and document business requirements for IT and digital projects. Develop business cases and decision papers, working with teams to outline costs, timelines, and benefits. Create process flows, user journeys, and process maps to ensure alignment with business objectives. Support project and test managers to ensure successful project delivery, including risk management and lessons learned reviews. Write clear project documentation, including reports and briefing papers for executive-level stakeholders. Requirements: Degree in IT or equivalent experience. Proven experience as a Business Analyst on IT and digital projects. Strong skills in creating process flow documents, business cases, and project reports. Proficiency with Azure DevOps or Jira.
