Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is known for offering services with a focus on outstanding quality, value added engineering and successful project outcomes. These services include engineering only and engineering/procurement/construction (EPC) services for high voltage powerlines and substations. As a Project Manager you will be supporting a local utility in its effort for storm hardening their systems. This includes programs related to undergrounding their distribution lines, rebuilding substations to meet flood zones, and similar. will be responsible for acting as a single point of contract (SPOC) with clients and work with their teams to make sure deliverables are met and communications are consistent with clients. You will develop weekly work plans and monitor project health, production, and quality. You will be responsible for managing all phases of the projects, managing and monitoring project timelines, ensuring on time and scope completion, keeping track of budgets, facilitating meetings and coordinating with different teams REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Project Management experience in utility projects for electric operations - Excellent communication and organization skills - Knowledge of excel - Understanding of project budget tracking, funding, authorization requests, change orders, etc. - Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • PMP Certification • Undergrounding experience
