Role Description : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr.System Reliability Engineer (Application Support Automation) to join our growing team in Pune. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of our production environments. Responsibilities : - Production Environment Management : Oversee the day-to-day operations of production environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and stability. - Application Performance Optimization : Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance across various environments. - Incident Management : Respond to and resolve production incidents effectively and efficiently, minimizing downtime and impact on business operations. - Deployment Support : Support the deployment of new software releases and updates, ensuring smooth and timely deployments with minimal disruption. - Automation Development: Design and implement automation solutions for various operational tasks, such as deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and monitoring. - Monitoring & Alerting: Design, implement, and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues. - CI/CD Pipeline Operations: Lead the design and implementation of efficient and reliable CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast and reliable software delivery. - DevOps Practices : Enhance DevOps automation and practices across the organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. - System Health Maintenance : Continuously monitor and maintain the health of production systems, ensuring high availability, low latency, and reliability. - Troubleshooting & Feedback : Troubleshoot complex application issues and provide constructive feedback to development teams to improve application stability and performance. Qualifications : - 5-7 years of experience as a System Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role. - Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred. - Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ruby, etc. - Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). - Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). - Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing). - Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI). - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team (ref:hirist.tech)
