Senior EWM Consultant - Support & Configuration

Key Responsibilities : - Act as the primary EWM support lead, overseeing day-to-day system issues, user requests, and incidents related to SAP EWM. - Manage and prioritize incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact to warehouse operations. - Provide second-line and third-line support for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of critical issues. - Monitor the performance of the SAP EWM system, identifying potential issues and areas for improvement. - Work with technical teams to apply patches, upgrades, and system enhancements, ensuring continuous system stability. - Support system configurations, testing, and adjustments to reflect any process changes or improvements in the warehouse environment. - Collaborate with business users to identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations within EWM to streamline warehouse operations. - Suggest and implement best practices in warehouse management, including optimizing material flows, picking strategies, and inventory management processes. Technical Skills : - Deep understanding of SAP EWM functionalities, including but not limited to : Warehouse Management Processes (Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Management, etc.) - Integrations with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) Master Data Management RF (Radio Frequency) technologies Warehouse Layout and Equipment - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. - Experience in SAP EWM implementations and/or rollouts is a plus. - Experience working on SAP Solution Manager (SOLMAN) is a plus. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP EWM. - Strong understanding of warehouse management principles and best practices. - Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
