Primary purpose and overall objective of the job The Product Manager is responsible for managing and promoting the bioMerieux bacteriology solution (products, software and services). This includes supporting the Marketing strategy, implementing and following up on the Marketing Action Plans, and the successful launch of new products to boost the bacteriology solution in the fields of sepsis and AMR/AMS, ensuring growth and profitability for bioMerieux while considering the various regulatory and legal constraints linked to different markets across the cluster. The role also involves supervising the sales budget and ensuring the right positioning of the product based on a strong knowledge of the competitors' offers and the market. Support and develop, implement and follow up the Marketing Action Plans to ensure a leading position in AMR/AMS of the full bacteriology solution in Italy. • Support the strategy and define, implement and follow up the Marketing actions/events and the successful launch of new products in the designated perimeter. • Analyse and monitor sales evolution and top customers to guide sales to new opportunities and mitigate threats in collaboration with the Market Manager Bacteriology Adriatic. • Ensure solid product/solution positioning and market development according to the strategy, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. • Study and analyse existing and new competitors' offers and market dynamics, as well as identify new growth opportunities for the bioMérieux bacteriology offer. • Manage forecast and allocation activities and support Supply Chain in the management of critical products. • Support and contribute to the regular update of tender dossiers and Marketing tools. • Be accountable for the technical review of Product Labelling translations requested by Corporate PLD for bacteriology lines. • Be accountable for bacteriology products life cycle management (PPO, customer communication, etc.). • Lead the activities for local KOL management and collaborate with Medical, Sales, and Customer Service for transversal projects. • Plan and execute Field force product trainings. Education/background - A scientific degree is required for the role; additional experience in marketing and/or Sales is required. 3.2 Skills and Qualifications: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills – effectively communicate across numerous functional areas with strong public presentation skills required. - Strong sense of accountability and follow-through. - Must be analytical, articulate, organized, and a self-starter with full accountability in the role. Experience - Previous experience in the healthcare sector is required; previous experience in the IVD sector is a plus. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; CRM experience (use of “Salesforce” is a plus).
