Aero Alliance Strategic Sourcing Analyst

Job Description Summary The Strategic Sourcing Analyst plays a key role in supporting the overall Strategic Sourcing operations across the Aero Alliance shops. In that role, She/He will: Work with Commodity managers being fully accountable for all the analytics tasks that define actual and new Vendors competitive figures. Act as program manager for New Vendor Intro: from RFQ (Request For Quote) package issuing to quote receiving. Perform component cost comparison both for new and already established Vendors and monitor actual Market Share allocations. Support in identifying gaps or cost outliers. Drive continuous improvement identifying automation/digitization opportunities. Drive Tableau dashboard creation. Job Description Essential Responsibility Be accountable for functional business analytic tasks. Support the full stream of supplier RFQ process from package preparation to quote analysis. Develop and maintain database of ongoing RFQ and follow up with vendor(s) to ensure on-time quotation. Support Commodity Managers in actual commodity buy monitoring and data deep dive. Work with Commodity Managers, Repair Global Vendor Manager, scope of works Operation and Finance to define the penalties amount imputable to the Vendors. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree required, major in engineering or business preferred. Strong analytical skills & Financial technical analysis acumen. Excellent Microsoft Excel modeling skills. Good knowledge of IT specific tools and ERP system. Good knowledge of Repairs business, processes, and systems. Program Management experience is nice to have. Demonstrated ability in cultivating strong cross-functional relationships. Excellent presentation, communication, and team player attitudes. Fluency in Italian and English (both written and spoken). EU Work Permit. Desired Characteristics Self-starter, high motivation level, ability to define short/mid-term priorities. Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects requiring on-time communication/update with key stakeholders. Continuous improvement mindset, able to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
