Maintenance Technician

Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world Responsibilities: Ensures that the layout, prototypes, and machinery in facilities run to their maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventative maintenance, software programming, and managing breakdowns of mechanical and robotic equipment. Installs, maintains, improves, and repairs equipment, plant services, and building installations. Responds to technical issues affecting production and maintains mechanical services through Planned Preventative Maintenance. Responds to breakdowns and identifies the root problem to provide a solution with minimal downtime to production. Proactively identifies and escalates any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage to production and reports breakdown root causes, equipment faults, and concerns to management. Qualifications: High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree. Relevant certifications, system experience, and training. Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. Excellent reading of mechanical drawings. High level of commitment and flexibility. Agility to work in a fast-paced and consistently changing environment. Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
