Internship – Technical Robot support

Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the team in the assigned Technical organization (division and market) and customers during the execution of medium to high complexity service work according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. In close cooperation with customers and other ABB teams, take actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB. The work model for the role is: LI-Onsite. You will be mainly accountable for: Carrying out commissioning of robot systems and holding training courses. Upgrading and modernization of the existing installed base. Robot process optimization, dealing with electrical, mechanical, software issues, and relating to process problems. Supporting business growth by introducing new technologies in terms of processes and state-of-the-art robot sensors or programming technologies. Supporting new system business and after-sales proactive initiatives, providing technical support via emails/phone from the office. Complying with the company’s safety and integrity procedures and standards. Qualifications for the role You have a technical education (e.g., electrical engineering, electronics, or mechatronics), preferably at the bachelor level. Knowledge of automated processes and/or robotics is a plus. You have a basic understanding of programming. Good knowledge of the Italian and English languages. Good knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and strong analysis skills with a problem-solving attitude. You have a great sense of responsibility and good analytical skills; you are also very service-minded. Easiness to manage relationships with customers.
